Wazhma Ayoubi took the Twitter world by storm by congratulating India, her second favourite team after Afghanistan, on defeating Pakistan in a comprehensive manner, in a tweet wherein she had donned the jersey of the Men in Blue.
Wazhma Ayoubi is reportedly a model, business owner, philanthropist, and social activist, who plies her trade in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She was born in Afghanistan during the year 1995 but left the country in order to become independent and take her professional career to the next level.
Owning the fashion label “LAMAN,” Wazhma Ayoubi desires to act in Bollywood someday. The 28-year-old fancies riding a bike in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, a country where she currently resides.
As an avid fan of sports, Wazhma Ayoubi rose to prominence in the world of social media, while supporting Afghanistan against Bangladesh during their Asia Cup 2022 match. At the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, her favourite team went on to win against the Tigers, to secure their spot in the Super Four stage of the tournament.
When Afghanistan defeated Pakistan for the first time in their history in 2023, in a T20I match at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Wazhma Ayoubi was so pumped up in celebrating the moment, that she lost her voice for a while. The 28-year-old also attended the Indian Premier League (IPL) match in Kolkata earlier this year, which made her popularity grow amongst the Indian public.
