The much-awaited Australia versus India second Test of the highly-anticipated Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) is underway at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide. However, the Men in Blue will be coming high on confidence after their dominating win by 295 runs in the Perth Test, the hosts on the other hand, will aim to continue the dominance in pink-ball Tests at home.

As the game got underway down under, Team India skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bat first. Speaking at the toss at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide, Rohit Sharma also confirmed the changes into their XI for the crucial pink-ball Test.

India make three changes; Rohit, Gill and Ashwin return in India's Playing XI

When asked about the changes, Rohit Sharma said, “We have made three changes. I am back, Gill is back. Ashwin is back. I am batting in the middle order which is different, but I am ready for the challenge.” “Looks a good pitch, looks a bit dry at the moment, enough grass covering as well. It’ll have some carry for the fast bowlers. As the game goes on, it’ll get better to bat on. There will be something in it for everyone. It’s going to be a good game. I have been here for two weeks now. Had good hit in the nets, played a game as well, ready to go now,” Rohit Sharma further added.
