Not many wrestlers get to enjoy a run quite like the former WWE Champion, John Bradshaw Layfield, aka JBL. The WWE Hall of Famer has done it all inside the squared circle. However, he surprised the WWE Universe with his shocking return to WWE on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.

The moment JBL held the microphone, it looked like the ‘The Wrestling God’ has picked up where he left off. With his mean cocky walk and arrogant smile, it looks like JBL will be inclined towards his heel-ish side.

During the episode, JBL introduced Baron Corbin to the ring, hence, announcing that he will be managing the former United States champion. JBL cut the promo about Rey Mysterio quitting Monday Night Raw and joining Friday Night SmackDown.

However, he also mentioned that Rey Mysterio is “a deadbeat dad”, taking a shot at the legendary luchador about his current storyline with his son, Dominik Mysterio. During his promo, the former JBL also laid emphasis on how Corbin will change the wrestling game and also nicknamed him the ‘New Wrestling God’.

Later on, the Hall of Famer sat down at the commentary table and spoke about how good is Baron Corbin inside the squared circle.

Will JBL ever wrestle again?

When JBL turned heel in the 2000s, no one in the business could go toe-to-toe with him. During his reign, he defeated the likes of The Undertaker, Eddie Gurrero and many more. However, his career came to an abrupt end when Mysterio defeated JBL for the Intercontinental Championship at the WrestleMania 25 premium live event.

With his return to the company, it doesn't look like the former champion will lace up a pair of boots to fight a match. Rather, he looks more comfortable on the microphone and doing his heel tactics.

However, with the fickle mindset of the wrestling industry, nothing is sure. Do you think JBL will wrestle again? Let us know in the comments!
