But, it is reported that the 39-year-old is not allowed to create a channel on YouTube, due to the considerable number of subscribers and views it could attract, putting strain on the finances of the platform.
Notably, in 2023, Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly made an account on TikTok, which generated millions of followers in a short time, while his videos on the platform entertained millions of views each. But, sometime later, TikTok banned the account without specifying the reason to the contrary, although the rumours suggested that the platform was in no position to pay hefty sums of money to him for it.
With that, the reports of Cristiano Ronaldo not being able to make an account on YouTube could prove to be true. However, football fans can engage with CR7 on social media through his Instagram and X accounts, where he has more than 600 million and 110 million followers respectively.
Cristiano Ronaldo is currently playing for Portugal in the UEFA Euro 2024, aiming to win the tournament for the second time in his illustrious career. In their opening match in Group F, Portugal defeated Czechia 2-1, to put themselves in second place in the standings.
