The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 action has now moved to Guwahati, which is inaugural champions, Rajasthan Royals’ second home. In the seventh match of IPL 2025, the Royals are taking on defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on Wednesday, March 26. Both teams will fight to get their first points as they take on in a high-octane clash.
For the unversed, KKR skipper Ajinkya Rahane won the toss and elected to bowl first. His decision came seeing the dew factor in Guwahati. “We'll look to bowl first. The wicket looks really good. If we bowl first, we'll get an idea how this wicket is. Dew factor is huge here,” Rahane said.
Wanindu Hasaranga replaces Fazalhaq Farooqi in RR’s Playing XI vs KKR
Riyan Parag, who is leading RR in the ongoing match as their regular skipper Sanju Samson is playing as a pure batter, coming in as an impact player, confirmed a change in the side. He reiterated, “One change. Hasaranga comes in, Farooqi steps out.” However, he did not specify the reason behind this change, but it comes seeing the team's last performance or maybe the conditions.
