Harmanpreet Kaur, the captain of the Indian women’s team, isn’t playing in the third and final Group A match of the Women’s Asia Cup 2024 on Tuesday, July 23. The Indian vice-captain, Smriti Mandhana, walked out to the middle for the toss, and after winning it, she decided to bat before revealing that Harmanpreet Kaur was rested for this match.
Notably, India won their first two matches in Group A of the Women’s Asia Cup 2024 in a comprehensive manner at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium. After defeating Pakistan by seven wickets, the Women in Blue got the better of UAE with a 75-run margin.
