In the sixth match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, inaugural champions, Rajasthan Royals are taking on defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on Wednesday, March 26. This will be RR’s first home match of the season in Guwahati after they travelled to Hyderabad to take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) to play their opener.
Notably, both teams are coming after losing their respective first matches. For the unversed, KKR skipper Ajinkya Rahane won the toss and elected to bowl first. After calling it right, Rahane revealed that the dew factor insisted him to take this call.

Furthermore, when enquired about the team combination, the KKR skipper revealed that West Indies international Sunil Narine will not be featuring in this game and has been replaced by Moeen Ali. “We'll look to bowl first. The wicket looks really good. If we bowl first, we'll get an idea how this wicket is. Dew factor is huge here,” he began.
“It's about staying positive, this format is all about being fearless, playing with intent. We played very good cricket, T20 is all about giving your best each and every day. We are looking forward to this game. We learnt a lot from the last game. We want to stay in the moment. I don't look at the stars that much, for me, it's all about contributing. Sunil Narine misses out, he's not well. Moeen Ali comes in,” Rahane added.
