Harmanpreet Kaur’s availability to be decided after batting session in nets

Speaking ahead of the series ODI series opener, Head Coach Amol Mazumdar provided much-anticipated update on Harmanpreet Kaur’s injury. The former India cricketer expressed optimism on her return in the series. “Harmanpreet is going to bat today in the nets... a complete, full nets schedule. Additionally, the Indian women cricket team head coach also provided an update on Yastika Bhatia’s absence, who is rehabilitating at NCA. “Yes, we will feel the absence of some players. Yastika Bhatia is injured, she is doing rehab at NCA. Hopefully, she will be fit and fine very soon. So, we will try and pick the best XI from the 15-member squad here," he said.
