Indian Premier League franchise Royal Challengers Bengaluru took an indirect dig at Pakistan team after their loss against Bangladesh. On September 3, Bangladesh registered a rare Test series sweep against Pakistan after they took down the hosts by six wickets in the second Test at Rawalpindi. Earlier, the Najmul Hossain Shanto-led side had taken down their rivals by a margin of 10 wickets in the first Test at the same venue.
With these two defeats, Pakistan’s streak has extended to six losses and four draws since their win against South Africa at Rawalpindi in 2021. This is Masood’s second consecutive clean sweep since he was promoted to the position of Test skipper. Earlier, he lost to Australia with a margin of 3-0. Both Pakistan and Pakistan are at number 7 and number 8 spots in the World Test Championship standings.
Winning at home isn't as easy: Royal Challengers Bengaluru take indirect dig at Pakistan
Pakistan became a subject to troll after they registered a loss against Bangladesh in the two-match Test series. Not only this, but netizens were joined by Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The Indian Premier League franchise took to X and shared a picture of the Indian Test team while accompanying it with the caption, “Winning at home isn't as easy as this team makes it look like. And they are back this month.”
Notably, the Rohit Sharma-led side will face Bangladesh in the upcoming two-match Test series which is set to kick start on September 19, at home in Chennai. India will be back in action after a month-long break as their last appearance came against Sri Lanka in a white-ball series.
