Since its inception in 2008, the Indian Premier League (IPL) has provided a great platform to the players from India and overseas to showcase their talent and skill to the cricketing world. Although some of the cricketers weren’t quite able to play to the best of their abilities in the IPL, struggling to make a mark on the tournament during their illustrious careers.

The Indian U-19 Cricket World Cup winning captain from 2012, Unmukt Chand, is mostly recognised for scoring a first ball duck for Delhi Capitals to kick-off the IPL 2013 campaign, getting cleaned up by Brett Lee of Kolkata Knight Riders. His opening partner will be the T20 World Cup 2021 winning captain for Australia, Aaron Finch, who played for a record nine teams in the IPL in 11 just seasons, delivering mediocre performances with the bat most of the time.
