Indian captain Rohit Sharma took to social media and celebrated Team India's youth brigade, who put in top performances in the 3rd Test against England. The M en in Blue took a 2-1 lead in the five-match series after registering a landslide 434-run victory in Rajkot. But the stars of India's biggest win by margin runs were Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel, three of the youngest members of the team.
Continuing his purple patch in world cricket, Jaiswal scored his second consecutive double-ton against England in the second innings. The 22-year-old put up an unbeaten 214 to help India set up the massive 557-run target. Talking about Sarfaraz Khan, the young Mumbai batter made the most of his debut Test by scoring twin half-centuries and stitching a 172-run stand with his childhood friend Jaiswal in the second innings.
Last but not least, India's other debutant at Rajkot, Dhruv Jurel showcased his class with both the bat and with his gloves against England. In the first innings, Jurel helped consolidate India's position as he batted with a tail and scored a vital 461 in 104 balls. Whereas behind the stumps, the UP gloveman had one stumping, one catch and an incredible runout. Celebrating all these efforts, Rohit Sharma shared a heartwarming story on Instagram with the caption, "Ye Aaj kal ke bacche."

When those things happen, it's a delight: Sharma on India's win
After the victory, Rohit Sharma praised the team's effort despite being put on the back foot after a poor Day 2 effort. Praising his team, Sharma said, "When you are playing Test cricket, it is not played over 2-3 days. We do understand the importance of playing over 5 days. They played well and put us under pressure. We have got class in our bowling, the message was to stay calm and I'm really proud of how we came back the next day. When those things happen, it's a delight."
