Lucknow Super Giants are currently hosting Punjab Kings at the Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in the city of Lucknow. The stand-in skipper for PBKS, Sam Curran won the toss earlier this evening and put LSG into bat. The Super Giants were able to put up a score of 159/8 on the board in their allotted overs on the back of a decent innings of 74(56) from their skipper KL Rahul. At the start of LSG’s bowling innings, there was a new bowler, Yudhvir Singh Charak, on show for the home team.
In his first over on IPL debut, Yudhvir Singh Charak picked up the wicket of fellow debutant from PBKS, Atharva Taide for a duck. He followed it up with a second wicket in his second over by castling the in-form Prabhsimran Singh.
