After Samoa wicketkeeper-batter Darius Visser broke Yuvraj Singh’s record of most runs in an over of men’s T20I match, a renowned film production house, T-Series Films announced a biopic on the former India all-rounder. T-Series Films took to social media to confirm a biopic of Yuvraj Singh, who has been an icon in Indian cricket and a cancer survivor who played a pivotal role in India’s inaugural T20 World Cup (2007) title win.
The T-Series head, Bhushan Kumar, who is known for films like Animal, Kabir Singh, has joined hands with producer Ravi Bhagchandka to bring Singh’s story to life in form of a movie. Ravi, a renowned producer had earlier backed the 2017 released documentary on ‘God of Cricket’ Sachin Tendulkar, titled ‘Sachin: A billion Dreams’, is said to do justice with Singh’s biopic.
"Relive the legend's journey from the pitch to the heart of millions — Yuvraj Singh's story of grit and glory is coming soon on the big screen!" T-Series captioned a post on X. Moreover, it is being speculated that the title for the biopic appears to be Six Sixes and will focus on the cricketer’s iconic journey, highlighting his records, along with his story as cancer survivor.

The 42-year-old opened up after T-Series confirmed his biopic, showcasing his interest in revealing his story to millions of fans. “I am deeply honored that my story will be showcased to millions of my fans across the globe by Bhushan-ji and Ravi. Cricket has been my greatest love and source of strength through all the highs and lows. I hope this film inspires others to overcome their own challenges and pursue their dreams with unwavering passion,” Singh said as quoted by Variety.
The T-Series head, Bhushan Kumar also expressed of bringing Singh’s heroics to life in a movie. "Yuvraj Singh’s life is a compelling narrative of resilience, triumph, and passion. His journey from a promising cricketer to a cricketing hero, and then to a hero in real life, is truly inspiring. I am thrilled to bring a story that needs to be told and heard through the big screen and to celebrate his extraordinary achievements,” Kumar said as quoted.
