Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has been one of the funniest cricketers both on and off the field. Living up to his fun-loving nature, Yuvi sent an uproarious message wishing Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant on his 25th birthday.

Singh wrote how he wishes Pant a long and successful career resembling his nourished and lush hair. Yuvi further hoped that Pant stays blessed and has a lot of success in the upcoming 2022 World Cup in Australia.

Yuvraj Singh posted, “Wishing you a career as lamba and ghana as your zulfein 👱‍♂️🤪 stay blessed @RishabhPant17, hope it’s a memorable day and year ahead. God bless and all the best for the World Cup 🏆 🙌🏻 happy birthday! 🎂”

In his short international career, Rishabh Pant has been one of the most polarising players in world cricket with an aggressive batting approach which also has garnered a lot of criticism. But at the same time, he is one of the only two wicketkeeper-batters with Test hundreds in Australia, England, India and South Africa.

He has scored 3897 runs in 119 international matches and has also affected 173 dismissals. But despite these incredible stats, Pant has undergone a few brown patch where he wasn’t scoring runs at a consistent rate. Recently, when Rishabh Pant was going through a similar phase, Yuvraj Singh emerged as his mentor and had a long conversation with the Delhi-born player.

This conversation immediately led to results as Pant scored an unbeaten knock of 125 runs against England in the third ODI in Manchester. While chasing 260, the Men in Blue were four wickets down quickly, when Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya rescued the innings and stitched up an incredible 133-run stand for the fifth wicket. The 25-year-old went on to win the Player of the Match and later thanked Yuvraj Singh for his advice on Twitter.

“Looks like the 45-minute conversation made sense!! Well played @RishabhPant17 that’s how you pace your innings @hardikpandya7 great to watch #indiavseng,” tweeted Yuvraj after Pant scored his maiden ODI century. The 24-year-old responded by saying, "It did, indeed Yuvi pa."
