The judges scored 97-92, 98-91 and 98-91 in favor of Jake, in what was his first 10-round fight.
As per the bet, for Drake to win USD 1 million on USD 250K, Diaz would have to defeat Paul.
With this fight, Diaz will become the fourth former UFC star to square off against Paul in the boxing ring.
