Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni showed off why he still is one of the best keepers in the world as he completed a lighting-fast stumping to dismiss the in-form Shubman Gill. After a nearly 24-hour delay, the IPL 2023 Final kicked off with Gujarat Titans batting first after losing the toss.
The defending champions got off to a brilliant start with Shubman Gill continuing his brilliant run-scoring form after being dropped at the score of three. With the game going out of CSK’s hands, Dhoni brought on his trump card – Ravindra Jadeja in the seventh over.
The Left-arm spinner just gave away five runs off his first five balls and then Jad eja brought out a magical delivery which turned away just enough to beat Gill’s outside edge. Then MS Dhoni did the rest as he took off the stumps in the blink of an eye.
