After being left on the bench during AC Milan's Serie A clash against Torino on Saturday, AC Milan forward Zlatan Ibrahimović is eyeing a return for the first time since May 2022. Prior to the Rossoneri's UCL clash against Tottenham, the 41-year-old Zlatan trained with Milan's U-18 team and played with his 16-year-old son Maximilian.

AC Milan defeated Tottenham 1-0 in their UEFA Champions League 2022-23, Round of 16 tie at the San Siro on Tuesday night. Since Zlatan was not included in the squad, he had to to join the junior side as they took on an XI of players who played either zero minutes or very few against Spurs in the top-tier European competition.
The Swedish striker took to his official Twitter handle and posted a video from the training, where he paired up with his son Maximilian in the same team that took on the senior side. Zlatan posted the video from the training and captioned, "DNA."

Despite the striking father son duo, the U-18 side faced a 3-0 defeat to the senior side in the training match. Ibrahimovic’s younger son, 15-year-old Vincent is also in the Milan's junior side but didn’t feature in the training game.
AC Milan will next face Monza in the Serie A 2022-23 on Saturday, February 18 at the Stadio Brianteo and Zlatan will look to return to the action, aiming towards his full fitness for the second leg against the Spurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the UCL 2022-23 Round of 16.
