Gujarat Titans did a decent job in the 2024 IPL auction by getting hard-hitters like Shahrukh Khan for ₹ 7.4 crore, Australian pacer Spencer Johnson for ₹ 10 crore, and also they got Umesh Yadav for ₹ 5.8 crore. Middle Order: (Sai Sudharsan, Kane Williamson, and David Miller)
The young talent Sai Sudharsan played a significant role with the bat in IPL 2023 by scoring 362 runs from 8 innings at an average of 51.71 and a strike rate of 141.4. Recently, in the three-match ODI series against South Africa also he made his international debut and smashed two fifties in his first two games.
Kane Williamson got injured after playing only one match for GT in IPL 2023, but his return in 2024 IPL will be very crucial for the franchise as he can play a solid middle-order role in this batting order.
David Miller’s six-hitting capability and his finishing skills have made him a great match-winner for all the IPL franchises that he plays for. In the last season, he has scored 259 runs at a strike rate of 145.5 with 13 sixes to his name.

All-Rounders: (Shahrukh Khan, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan)
Shahrukh Khan has been a terrific power hitter in death overs and his excellence combined with Miller’s finishing skill will put Gujarat on top. Also, Shahrukh Khan apart from being a destructive batsman can bowl very well as he became the leading wicket-taker in TNPL 2023.
Rahul Tewatia has been a great finisher for his IPL franchise since 2020 from RR days, hence his form will also play a key role in the team’s success.
Rashid Khan has been the greatest ever T20 bowler in the world. His brilliant spin-bowling technique has made him the number 1 spinner in this format. His role has played a pivotal role for both SRH & GT in the past IPL seasons.

Bowlers: (Umesh Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Mohit Sharma)
Umesh Yadav’s ability to bowl in the powerplay overs would help him to start in the playing XI, while Shami and Mohit Sharma played a pivotal role with the ball last season for the Gujarat team’s success hence they are expected to start in the initial XI.
Shami has been the highest wicket-taker with the ball in both IPL 2023 & ODI World Cup 2023. Spencer Johnson could play as an impact player in place of a talented young player like Sai Sudharsan while GT is bowling.
