The Ujjain Falcons decided to bat first against the Malwa Stallions and they put on a strong total of 206 on the board after 20 overs. They did get off to a decent start with the opening pair finding some early boundaries, but Yash Dubey was dismissed in the fifth over of the game. Then came a brilliant 4th wicket partnership between Chanchal Rathore and Madhav Tiwari, where they put up 61 runs together. The Falcons skipper played a very calculated knock and that helped the side to reach a commendable total on board. There were some notable late flourishes as well from the likes of Rishi Miglani and Ojaswa Yadav.

Falcons will believe that they have a good total on board and the rest of the game will be up to the performance of the bowlers. For the Malwa Stallions, Ashutosh Sharma proved to be the best bowler as he picked up 3 wickets from just 2 overs and gave away just 15 runs. Vineet Rawat also bowled decently well but none of the other bowlers seemed to be posing a threat for the Falcons. It will be interesting to see in the second innings if the Stallions can chase down a solid total in their 20 overs.
