Thomas Tuchel is set to leave Bayern Munich by the end of the season after a disappointing trophyless campaign. Bayer Leverkusen head coach Xabi Alonso would be the first choice that Bayern would want to chase to replace Tuchel. However, Munich would have to face it off with Liverpool, who are also front runners in signing Alonso as Jurgen Klopp’s replacement.

The next name that seems to be another frontrunner to replace Tuchel at Bayern is the former French legend, Zinedine Zidane. The former Real Madrid legend has been out of the coach’s role since 2021 after he stepped down from the role at Spanish Legends after a trophyless run in the 2020-21 season.

Another name that emerged as a possible replacement for Tuchel at Bayern Munich is former Roma boss Jose Mourinho. He has claimed several league titles in England, Portugal, Italy and Spain. During his interview with FIVE, he said that he is back to get back into the game as soon as possible.
He was quoted as saying, “I was having lunch with my friends and people that work with me and we were in the lift. I was telling the guys if I can work tomorrow, I work tomorrow. I don’t enjoy any day without work. I don’t understand, I’m sorry guys. But I don’t understand people that speak about sabbatical time.”
