Tickets for the highly anticipated International Friendly clash between India and Brazil to be played on October 3 in Kolkata are now on sale allowing football fans to book their places for what will be a historic encounter. AIFF officially confirmed ticket sales through social media channels and they will be made available on the District application. The match will be played at Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan which is known as Salt Lake Stadium. One of the biggest football fixture India will have hosted with Brazil playing on Indian shores after carrying world soccer glory across the world five times.

The fifth ranked Selecao will be the highest rated side that has played against the blue tigers after the FIFA Rankings came into effect in 1992 and to begin sales AIFF posted, “The wait is over. See you at India vs Brazil.”With ticketing going on sale, all eyes will be on the Brazil match which happens to be part of a busy International window for India. Before they play hosts to a side currently ranked fifth in the FIFA world rankings, the blue tigers will play Panama on 26 September before Brazil play one week later and three days after the South Americans, they will play two time World Champions Uruguay on 6th October in what has already being dubbed as the ultimate international football experience in Kolkata.

India is set for a major international football treat as Brazil, Panama and Uruguay are scheduled to visit the country for high-profile friendly matches during the upcoming FIFA international window. Uruguay will face India on October 6, 2026, at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata. The match will be India’s third high-profile international friendly during the September 21 to October 6 window, which allows a country to play a maximum of four matches.

The Indian men’s national team will welcome another heavyweight of world football to Kolkata, with two-time FIFA World Cup champions Uruguay set to face India in an international friendly match at Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan on October 6, 2026. The fixture will be India’s third high-profile international friendly of the window,” the All India Football Federation (AIFF) said in a statement on Thursday. The AIFF also highlighted the significance of the three World Cup nations visiting India. “La Celeste’s arrival in Kolkata adds another major fixture to an unprecedented run of international football for Indian fans, with three World Cup-playing nations — Panama, Brazil and Uruguay — set to visit the country within the same FIFA window.” The fixtures promise Indian football fans a rare opportunity to watch some of the world’s biggest teams on home soil..
