One Day International ODI) wasn’t quite the centerpiece of the cricketing calendar in the year 2024 with no ICC events at the senior level in the format, making way for some more top quality Test and T20I cricket all over the world. But still, there were a few memorable performances in ODI from players in the bowling side of things, earning big wins for their respective teams apart from building up for the ICC Champions Trophy, set to be played early next year.

Haris Rauf (5/29 vs Australia)
In the second ODI of the three-match series at the Adelaide Oval, Haris Rauf, the Pakistan fast bowler, showcased an exhibition of express pace bowling, running through the Australian batting lineup, to set up a series win. The right-armer picked up the wickets of Josh Inglis, Marnus Labuschagne, Aaron Hardie, Glenn Maxwell, and Pat Cummins, to help bowl out Australia for 163 runs before Pakistan chased down the total with nine wickets in hand.
