The Sri Lankan all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga was one of the most important players in the Royal Challengers Bangalore set-up since the previous mega auction. But a poor 2023 season saw Hasaranga out of the Bangalore-based franchise. Hence Chennai Super Kings could go big for the Sri Lankan as a possible replacement for Moeen Ali. Further, with Maheesh Theekshana’s recent poor performances, Hasaranga could replace his countryman as one of the frontline spinners for CSK.
