Faf du Plessis
Royal Challengers Bangalore have released Faf du Plessis, allowing CSK the chance to bid on their former players, who have helped them win many matches. CSK is known for re-signing former players, so there is a strong possibility they will bid hard for the 40-year-old South African. Du Plessis, who played for CSK for seven seasons, could return this season, although RCB has the Right to Match (RTM) card to bring him back. Bids for Faf may go as high as INR 10 Crore.

Glenn Maxwell
Along with Faf, RCB has also released Glenn Maxwell, opening an opportunity for CSK to pursue him. CSK had previously bid on the Australian all-rounder in the IPL 2022 auction, but RCB acquired him. The 36-year-old has played 134 matches for four teams, scoring 2,771 runs and taking 37 wickets. Maxwell is expected to be in high demand, likely getting around INR 12 Crore.

Rishabh Pant
There’s a lot of buzz around CSK potentially bidding for Rishabh Pant. Fans are excited about the possibility of Pant and MS Dhoni in the same team. The 27-year-old has played 111 IPL matches, scoring 3,284 runs. Teams like Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru with larger budgets might also go after him. Ravichandran Ashwin from Tamil Nadu, was a core player for CSK from 2009 to 2015. Delhi Capitals have released the off-spinner, and CSK might aim to bring him back. R Ashwin has played 212 IPL matches, taking 180 wickets and scoring 800 runs. Known for his calmness in intense situations, Ashwin could attract bids between INR 6 to 8 Crore.

Gerald Coetzee, a fast bowler from South Africa made his debut last season with Mumbai Indians, playing 10 matches and taking 13 wickets.
