It is now understood that Portuguese forward Joao Felix, who is currently playing at AC Milan, will not continue at the club post the current season. Having moved to the Serie A team on loan from Chelsea, Felix has failed to establish himself in the team and his numbers reflect his poor run of form. In 11 games that he has played for Milan, Felix has only found the back of the net once and has provided one assist. With Felix set to return to Stamford Bridge at the end of the current season, Chelsea will have to make a decision about the future of the 25-year-old attacker as it seems that he is not a part of Chelsea’s manager Enzo Maresca’s plans.

After having a breakthrough season in the Portuguese league with SL Benfica in 2018-19, where he had 31G/A in 43 matches, Felix was brought to La Liga by Atletico Madrid. After spending three and half years at the Spanish capital, Felix was loaned out to multiple clubs like Chelsea and Barcelona, but nowhere could he establish a sense of consistency in his performance and his tenure with these clubs remained a one-season affair.

We’re not Messi: Kyle Walker frustrated over Milan teammate Joao Felix

In a recent video that has being making rounds on the internet, Kyle Walker can be seen saying something to his AC Milan teammate Joao Felix in the stadium tunnel. Walker seems to be frustrated with Felix holding up the ball for too long and not making quick passes and releasing possession when required. He can be seen saying, “Pass the ball, we’re not Messi!”

The video is from AC Milan’s recent Serie A match, where they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Napoli. Having scored two goals in the first 20 minutes, Napoli were in control of the game until Milan’s Luka Jovic struck one at the 84th minute. However, his goal was simply a consolation as Napoli went on to win the game, putting them second in the Serie A table.
