Anthony Joshua has revealed that he has a picture of Dillian Whyte as his screensaver ahead of their highly anticipated rematch on August 12 at the O2 Arena in London. The heavyweight champion said that he uses the image of his rival to motivate himself ahead of the fight. As the fight between the two draws closer, Joshua had an interaction with Fight Hype in which he was asked how much it would mean for his career if he wins the fight.
While replying, Joshua stated that he is so focused on beating Whyte that he even has a picture of Whyte on his phone's lock screen. "When you're fighting someone that's on your mind every day, it does a lot for my preparation, I'm pushing myself," Joshua stated further.

Joshua and Whyte have a long history of animosity, dating back to their amateur days when Whyte beat Joshua by a point decision in 2009. Joshua avenged that loss in 2015 when he knocked out Whyte in the seventh round of a thrilling British title fight. Since then, both fighters have gone on to achieve success in the heavyweight division, with Joshua becoming a two-time unified world champion and Whyte becoming a top contender and a former interim WBC champion.
However, both fighters have also suffered setbacks in their careers, with Joshua losing twice to Oleksandr Usyk and Whyte losing once to Tyson Fury. Both fighters bounced back with wins over Jermaine Franklin earlier this year, setting up the stage for a grudge match that could determine their future in the sport.
There is a lot at stake this time because, if Joshua prevails, he is likely to immediately enter a highly profitable match against Deontay Wilder in Saudi Arabia next year.
