The 12th edition of the Big Bash League (BBL) have been started from Tuesday, December 13 as t he two-month domestic T20 league will see eight teams battling against each other in the round robin format as top four teams will qualify for the knockouts, taking place from Friday, January 27 while the BBL 2022-23 final is scheduled to be played on Saturday, February 4.
After winning the BBL 2021-22, Perth Scorchers became the most successful BBL franchise, having won the title four times followed by Sydney Sixers (3) and a win each for Adelaide Strikers, Melbourne Renegades, Brisbane Heat and Sydney Thunder .
