Swiss bowler Andrew Ryan dismissed Thuvarahan Karunakaran in a bizarre run out during the ECS Switzerland T10 match between Winterthur CC and Cossonay CC. Ryan threw himself at wickets to dismiss the rival batter, leaving fans and spectators in splits. The incident took place in the final over of Winterthur's innings.

The game took a hilarious turn when Cossonay bowler Ryan pulled a bizarre run out of Karunakaran. Karunakaran was batting for his side, when he missed a delivery by Ryan, and the ball landed straight in the hands of the wicketkeeper. Chris Lode, who was at the non-striker end ran quickly to get a single and while this, the wicketkeeper threw the ball to Ryan, who charged onto the stumps, scalping the rivals’ wicket.
The video was posted by European Cricket, with caption, “Andrew Ryan channelling his inner rhino to effect the runout.” The incident left everyone in splits, while the Cossonay CC players celebrated the dismissal.

The match started with Cossonay opting to bat first, where they posted a total of 143 at the loss of six wickets. Coming to chase the target of 144, the Winterthur men were restricted at 73 at the loss of eight wickets, leading to their loss by a huge margin of 70 runs. Cossonay bowler Ryan took four wickets in the game, while their other wickets came from Aidan Andrews, Tahirkhan Ahmadzai, and Venu Agarwal.
