Caribbean’s premier T20 tournament, Caribbean Premier League is set to commence on August 30 and will be played till October 7, 2024. The tournament, which was established in 2013 by Cricket West Indies to elevate the T20 standards in the group of islands, will feature in its 12th edition this season.
In the previous edition, Guyana Amazon Warriors lifted their maiden title after securing a convincing victory against Trinbago Knight Riders in the summit clash by nine wickets. The winning team member Shai Hope was adjudged as the Player of the Tournament for scoring 481 runs in 13 games, while his teammate Dwaine Pretorius was the leading wicket-taker with 20 wickets.
CPL 2024: Fixtures, Date, Timings and More
The tournament comprises of 34 matches where the league stage will be played in the double round-robin format, meaning all the teams will compete against each other twice. The teams finishing in the top four will qualify for the playoffs. The league stage will take till September 30 and the playoffs will take place from October 2-7, 2024.

CPL 2024: Teams
A total of six teams will feature in the tournament which will played across the span of more than a month. Antigua & Barbuda Falcons, SKN Patriots, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Trinbago Knight Riders, Barbados Royals, and St. Lucia Kings will participate in the 12th edition of the tournament.
CPL 2024: Broadcast and Live Streaming details
The Caribbean-based league’s broadcast will not be available on any channel in India, whereas the live streaming will be available on the FanCode app and website for users in India.
