Call of Duty Mobile Season 2 Lunar Dragon has come with a new season, and with it, several new weapons, and a new battle royale class. The new season of the game comes with the Chinese New Year theme and is expected to go live in a few days. The forthcoming season will mark the second season of Series 5. As per the sources, the new Lunar Dragon season would feature a variety of new weapons including the Type 19 Assault Rifle (AR) along with a melee spear.
The Type 19 AR is a unique weapon for the mobile royale and will be available only after the release. As per several leaks, the Type 19 AR has a base damage of 28 with a fire rate of 75. Apart from this, the new season would also bring along a Mythic Weapon Blueprint for the Type 19.
Not only this, but players would also get a new secondary melee spear in the new edition. Speaking about other notable tools and features of the new season, it would come with a new Battle Royale Class Jet Boost.
COD Mobile Season 2: Lunar Dragon release date
The season is expected to go live on February 7, Wednesday at 4 pm in Call of Duty: Mobile. It will go live on February 8 at 5:30 am IST. The highly anticipated season comes with a BR mode that has floating platforms. It will enable players to enter the match, where they will even get to set off firecrackers and play minigames. While the mode will have fireplays, fans won’t be allowed to use weapons.
As mentioned, the season would celebrate the Chinese New Year and is themed around the same. According to the developers, “surrounded by nature in the evening, this version of the map pays homage to the dragon in a futuristic setting.”
