American MMA star Cody Rhodes picked Roman Reigns as his opponent for the WrestleMania XL at the kick-off event in Las Vegas. Rhodes replaced megastar The Rock after the latter had earlier replaced him for the main spot. At the kick-off event, Reigns made the first move as he announced that he wanted to face his cousin The Rock in Philadelphia. However, The American Nightmare then confirmed that he wanted to face Reigns at The Show of Shows, replacing The Rock.

The announcement was filled with chaos and other drama as well as Rhodes ended up insulting The Bloodline and received a slap from The Rock. After a drama-filled night, it is almost certain that Johnson and The Tribal Chief won’t have a match together. Instead, The Rock can be expected to team up with Reigns against Rhodes.

Who sits at the head of the table?: Cody Rhodes insults The Bloodline, gets slapped

Cody Rhodes, who recently won the Royal Rumble, insulted The Rock and his ancestry. It happened when the fighter-turned-actor was showing a graphic of The Bloodline family tree and said that it’s proof that there is only one dominant royal family in wrestling. Rhodes came out and insulted Reigns’ father. The 38-year-old added, "Who sits at the head of the table? What's it matters when none of you have been doing any of the cooking for two years?"

This, certainly, didn’t go well with The Rock and The Tribal Chief, and the former ended up slapping Rhodes for his remarks. Before things could get heated, officials turned up and intervened.
