Football icon Cristiano Ronaldo has surpassed reality TV star and model Kylie Jenner to become Instagram's highest-paid celebrity. Ronaldo, who shocked the world by moving to Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia earlier this year on a free transfer, receives a staggering $2.39 million for each sponsored post on the social media platform.

Ronaldo is the most followed user on Instagram, with a stunning 597 million followers. He also came in first place on Forbes magazine's list of highest-paid athletes worldwide for 2023. Ronaldo shares snippets of his personal and professional life with his supporters on Instagram, where his account has grown significantly in recent years. On his account, he advertises a number of companies, including Binance, Nike, live score, and CR7 Fragrances.

Ronaldo has gained more followers in the Middle East, where he is revered by millions of people, as a result of his move to Al-Nassr. On January 22, he won 1-0 in his new team's official debut match against Al-Ettifaq.

Alex Telles, a former colleague of Ronaldo's at Manchester United, also joined Al-Nassr and signed a contract through 2025. On January 19, the pair participated in a friendly game against Paris Saint-Germain, where Ronaldo scored twice for Riyadh's All-Star XI, a joint team made up of players from Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal for this exhibition game. He also squared off against Messi, a PSG player, and his old rival, in an epic match that resulted in a 5-4 defeat for the 38-year-old.
