Cristiano Ronaldo has not failed to impress with his return to Manchester United this year. The star striker has time and again scored goals in crucial moments for the Red Devils and have kept them in the race somehow despite the team not quite clicking as a unit this season under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Portugal legend did not take any time at all to get going after returning to Premier League and has already scored 9 goals in the 11 matches he has played. Ronaldo has time and again maintained that he has returned to Manchester United to win trophies. However, he along with other players won't be pleased with how they have been performing as a team this season which has also led to speculations that he could leave the club if they do not qualify for Champions League this season.

"I said what I felt in that moment, that I'm here to win things," he told Sky Sports in a recent interview about his speech which he made on arriving at United.

"Manchester United is a sign of winning things and I'm not here for holidays," he reiterated.

"I said to them I see huge potential in this team. They have very young players, players with potential, and I'm here to win and to help the team to build new stuff," he stated.
