India has won 8 consecutive games in a row and is certain to finish as the table topper in the ODI World Cup 2023 even if they lose their last game of the league stage against the Netherlands. Pakistan can qualify for the semi-finals with 10 points if they win their final game against England.

If Pakistan qualify for the semi-finals with 10 points then they are likely to end at fourth position in the points table provided if Sri Lanka beat New Zealand and Afghanistan lose their remaining games in the tournament against Australia and South Africa.

The first semi-final match will be played between the first-placed team and vs fourth-placed team in the points table at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on 15th November.

The second semi-final match will be played between the second-placed team vs third third-placed team in the points table at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on 16th November.

India will be playing their semi-final match at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on 15th November if Pakistan doesn't qualify for knockouts, but if Pakistan qualifies then the India vs Pakistan semi-final game will be played at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on 16th November at 2 PM IST.
