The International League T20 is coming back with its third edition in 2025. The tournament is set to kickstart with a match between Dubai Capitals and defending champions MI Emirates at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on January 11. Total six teams including the likes of Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, Dubai Capitals, Desert Vipers, Gulf Giants, MI Emirates, and Sharjah Warriorz will compete against each other in the upcoming season. The ILT20 is a professional franchise cricket league in the United Arab Emirates. The first edition of the ILT20 was played in January and February in 2023.
Now, the third edition of the ILT20 is set to take place in January 2025. The tournament will be played in the round-robin format where every team will play against each other twice in the league stage followed by the playoffs. In the playoffs, the top two teams will play in the first Qualifier followed by the Eliminator between the third and fourth placed teams respectively. The winner of the Qualfiier one will directly qualify for the final, while the losing team will get another chance against the winner of the eliminator in Qualifier 2.
