India's emerging batting star Yashasvi Jaiswal slams his third Test century on Day 3 of the third Test against England. With the five-match Test series tied at 1-1, the cricketing giants are currently squaring off in the third Test in Rajkot. Jaiswal showed his nerves of steel as he powered India past a 284-run lead on Day 3 single-handedly with a spectacular century.

Jaiswal hit his 3rd Test century and second ton of the series in 122 deliveries with a boundary off a Mark Wood delivery. Not only this but with it, he is now the seventh fastest to reach three Test 100s alongside Virender Sehwag and Sanjay Manjrekar.

Team India took a huge 126-run lead after the first innings for both sides as the hosts registered 445 runs and restricted the Three Lions to 319 runs. In their second innings, skipper Rohit Sharma and Jaiswal took the field to extend the lead further. While Sharma walked back to the hut on 19 runs off 28 deliveries, Jaiswal continued his momentum and hit another hundred. X, previously known as Twitter, was set abuzz as fans congratulated the 22-year-old Mumbai cricketer.
