One-time IPL champions Rajasthan Royals have already unveiled their jersey for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League. Similar to the respective jerseys of the other IPL teams, this new jersey also talks about the motto of the side. It is worth noting that the Rajasthan-based side will be having Sanju Samson as their skipper in IPL 2021 after they released their captain Steve Smith.
Now before the mega event kicks off and the Royals start their campaign in quest of a trophy in their all-new jersey, let's have a look at their outfit.
Composition and significance of the jersey
The new jersey of Rajasthan Royals is also a combination of their old colours- blue and pink. The jersey basically talks about four points, designs of which are well imprinted on the shirt. One of the four designs highlights the new aim of the IPL-based side. RR have targeted to plant 14,000 plus Khejri Tree in the upcoming two years.
Another design in their jersey talks about their effort to empower women with the opportunity to become skilled artisans. The third idea depicts their attempt to put focus on the mental well-being of women and the LBGTQIA+ community. Meanwhile, the final design talks about The Lioness- The foundation of the pride. According to them, the lioness is the gatherer of food, provider of children and most of all, they work together as a team to ensure the survival and strength of their pride.
