Social media is a blessing, or boon is a never-ending debate. While celebrities use several social media platforms as a medium to engage with their fans, sometimes they find themselves at the receiving end. Sanjana Ganesan, a sports anchor and wife of Indian speedster Jasprit Bumrah, encountered a similar incident on Monday as she posted an adorable throwback picture with her husband on Insta.

But minutes after Sanjana posted the picture, an Insta user tried to troll her by mentioning how the Indian cricket team is struggling in the ongoing Asia Cup 2022, but the celebrity couple is enjoying vacation times. "Waha India ki ma behen padi hui hai or ye ghum rahe (When Indian team is struggling in Asia Cup, these two are enjoying vacation)," wrote the Insta user goes by the name saifkhan87793.

Little did the user knew that the celebrity sports anchor was in no mood to take it as she gave a befitting reply to the troll. "Throwback photo hain dikhta nahi hain kya, chomu aadmi? (can't you see it’s a throwback picture, idiot). Sanjana's response was lauded by many Insta users as the comment section was flooded with comments like 'well said mam, 'perfect yorker' 'destroyed op' etc.

Meanwhile, Indian pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah is currently undergoing rehabilitation at National Cricket Academy in Bangalore after he was ruled out of the Asia Cup due to a back spasm. The 28-year-old has not played international cricket since the second one-day international against England at Lord's on July 14.

Speaking of Team India, Rohit Sharma & Co. encountered a 5-wicket defeat in Asia Cup 2022 against Pakistan on September 4 (Sunday). On the back of Virat Kohli's spectacular 60 off 44 deliveries, India posted 181/7 in the first innings of the match. But Mohammad Rizwan (71 off 51), and Mohammad Nawaz (42 off 20) held the fort for Men in Green which was very well capitalised by Khushdil Shah (14 off 11) and Asif Ali (16 off 8) towards the end as Pakistan notched up thrilling victory in the last over.

With that win, Pakistan has pushed India into a tight situation where Men in Blue needs to win both their remaining games in the Super 4 stage to qualify for the summit clash. Rohit-led India will be up against Sri Lanka on September 6 (Tuesday) at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
