Donald Trump, the 45th President of the United States from 2017 to 2021, has made his return to the micro-blogging site Twitter in more than two years, with a mugshot pic of himself. The 77-year-old, who mispronounced the names of Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar, during his presidential visit to India in 2020, had gone to a jail in Atlanta, Georgia, on charges of racketeering and conspiracy, on August 24, Thursday.
In 2023, this was the fourth time when Donald Trump was jailed for his alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 US Presidential elections, which he lost to Joe Biden. He spent around 20 minutes in the Fulton County Jail, scrolling at the camera while his mugshot was taken.

Identified as inmate number P01135809, as per the records of Fulton County Jail, Donald Trump also furnished details about his physical attributes, height 6’ 3”, weight 215 pounds, and strawberry-blond hair. Shortly afterward, he boarded a flight from Hartsfield-Jackson airport in Atlanta, Georgia, to his golf club in New Jersey.
Shortly afterward, Donald Trump took to his official Twitter account, to share a picture of himself, which had words like “MUGSHOT AUGUST 24, 2023,” “ELECTION INTERFERENCE,” “NEVER SURRENDER!” and “DONALDJTRUMP.COM.” He also captioned it with the link of his personal website, to mark his return to the social media platform.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump was associated with cricket on February 24, 2020, during his speech to the Indian public at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. While appreciating the cricket players from India, he was quoted as saying, “This is the country where your people cheer on some of the world’s greatest cricket players -- from Sachin Tendulkar to Virat Kohli. The greatest in the world.”
He pronounced Sachin Tendulkar as “Soo-chin Tendul-kerr,” and “Vee-rot Ko-lee,” but still, the crowd inside the stadium went on to cheer for the former President of the United States.
