Star Indian sprinter Dutee Chand has been provisionally suspended after an adverse analytical finding in her latest sample. The news was confirmed on Wednesday when the sprinter’s urine sample tested of doping net by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).

 

It is being reported that Dutee Chand has been tested of a prohibited substance are Selective Androgen Receptor Modulators (SARMs). It is said to be a class therapeutic compounds that consist of anabolic steroids but with comparatively reduced androgenic properties. However, it is being speculated that the positive test was returned out of the competition testing process.

 

Indian journalist took to Twitter to share the latest update on Dutee Chand with the athlete confirmed of dope net.

 

After Dutee Chand’s ‘A’ sample testing positive, the next step is likely to be an appeal by the athlete followed by ‘B’ sample test. Reacting to the news, Dutee Chand said, “I am completely unaware about this. I have received no information from any body on any positive test. I cannot take any steps about this without knowing the details. I will have to see where the test was conducted and then act accordingly.”
