The E-sports giant, EA SPORTS, has announced the release date and cover athletes of their new and highly anticipated game College Football 25. The game, which will be available for Xbox Series XS and PlayStation 5, will be launched on July 19, 2025, with the Deluxe edition to be available from July 16 for early access. This game will not be available on the PC or previous generation consoles.
It includes various superstars of the game for its cover in the standard edition. The cover of College Football 25 features Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers, Colorado wide receiver Travis Hunter, and Michigan running back Donovan Edwards. The deluxe edition includes players from various schools including Georgia quarterback Carson Beck, Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins, and Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe.
How to pre-order and launch details
The game will be available to players in July 2025 but the pre-orders of the game are currently available for the players who need registration to fulfill it. Its full feature modes and sets will be announced on Friday only with many earlier leaks of the covers available on the PlayStation store.
The SVP and Group GM of EA Sports, Daryl Holt expressed his jubilation on the announcement of the game and said, “We’re proud to be able to incorporate thousands of current athletes in College Football 25, and featuring this trio of playmakers and their iconic college programs on the cover is a perfect fit as we usher in a new era for EA Sports and college football. I can’t wait for the world to learn more about the game.”
Despite being the game not available for PC users, there is excitement among the users, who are eagerly waiting for their access to the game next year.
