Renowned cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle is currently occupied with the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup underway in the Indian subcontinent. The 62-year-old renowned journalist, who has made a mark in the cricketing world with his on-point opinions and knowledge, once again hogged the limelight after his comments post Netherlands’ win over South Africa.

It is to be noted that the Netherlands pulled off a remarkable wins and most memorable upset in the World Cup as they beat South Africa, who were on a two-match winning run in the tournament, by 38 runs. However, what caught eyeballs in his message while congratulating the Dutch team was that he mistakenly referred to the side as Scotland.

However, Bhogle later deleted his tweet, a user took no time to troll the cricket commentator. “Kaun sa charash phukte ho Bhogle saab”, a user by the name Jimmy replied on the now deleted post.

The cricket pundit has now replied to the user and the post ha since then doing rounds on social media. “Ghalati hui. Buraai to nahi ki kiiki, mazaak to nahi udaaya. Ekhaad din aap se bhi ho sakti hai, shayaad….. hopefully baghair kuch cheez phoonke…. Relax” he replied.

Notably, this polite gesture by the Indian commentator was praised by fans on X. Talking about the match, Netherlands registered second upset of the ongoing season after earlier Afghanistan beat England. Additionally, this was the first instance of Netherlands beating a Full Member nation other than Zimbabwe and Ireland in ODIs.
