Amidst all the chaos around the conduct of the T20 matches and leagues, the third edition of the Emirates D50 tournament is set to take place from April 24 to May 5, 2024, in the UAE. It will be the 50-over format where teams from UAE will compete to lift the silverware. 

The tournament will be organized by the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) where six teams will compete in the 17 matches in 10 days. The team finishing at the top will directly qualify for the final clash while the latter two will play the only semi-final clash. The matches will be played at the Malek Cricket Ground 1 and Malek Cricket Ground 2.

In the previous tournament, Emirates Red clinched the title after securing a convincing victory over Dubai by five wickets. However, the defending champions will not participate in the current edition of the tournament.

The third edition of the tournament will see 17 matches which will be staged in 10 days. The six teams will compete in a single round-robin format and the team finishing at the top will directly set the date in the summit clash on May 5. The second and third-placed teams will play in the one-off semi-finals. Every day, two league stage games will be played for entire eight days.

A total of six teams will participate in the 50-over competition which consists of emerging players from the Middle Eastern nation. Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Emirates Blue, Fujairah, and Sharjah.

The one-day format event will provide the relentless entertainment of 100 overs amidst the continuous T20 mayhem in different parts of the cricketing world. However, the Indian audience wouldn’t be able to watch the broadcast of this tournament. However, they can access the live streaming of the event on the FanCode app and website with a premium.
