New Zealand opener Devon Conway scored the first century of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 against England at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. New Zealand bowling first put forth an incredible bowling display to restrict the explosive English batting at the score of 283.

Then chasing this tricky total, the Blackcaps lost Will Young for a golden duck. But Conway stitched up an incredible partnership with young all-rounder Rachin Ravindra, which carried New Zealand out of trouble. Scoring at a stunning rate, Conway needed just 83 balls to complete his ton with 13 fours and two sixes and reached the milestone in the 27th over bowled by Mark Wood.
