Amidst all the exciting cricketing action, the World Test Championship 2023 Final between India and Australia was witness to a proposal during the fifth over of the second innings. Chasing the massive total of 444, India got off to a positive start with Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill finding regular boundaries.
Then as the game entered the fifth over of the game, Gill hit the second ball towards the long leg for a single. After the delivery was completed, the camera towards th e crowd where a couple was the centre of attention a man brought out a ring for his partner, who immediately said and the pair shared a kiss.

But soon after the incident, all focus returned to cricket as India battled a dominant Aussie attack and posted 164 runs at the end of Day 4. Reacting to the day's play and Australia's game plan for the final, wicket Alex Carey said, "I think we have the runs on the board, always look for more wickets, but they played well (on Rahane and Kohli). We'll have another chance tomorrow. Looked good to me (on the Green catch), we were happy and the right decision was made."
"It's not great to see them scoring at 6 rpo, but we pegged them back, quick wickets does help and we'll look for more tomorrow. I thought Mitch (Starc) played beautifully, attacked at the right moment and took the pressure off me. A tricky little period in the morning and we got over well. Class players, this is a good partnership, we need to remain patient, hit the right areas and hopefully the wickets will come."
