Starting off the proceedings was Polish forward Robert Lewandowski, who found the back of the net for the Blaugrana in just three minutes. Soon Spurs levelled and doubled their lead with an Oliver Skipp brace with the Englishman scoring twice in just 12 minutes (24', 36').
After an entertaining first half, both teams had an underwhelming performance in the final 45 until Barcelona's young brigade scored thrice in the last 13 minutes. 16-year-old Lamine Yamal dazzled with an 81st-minute assist to Ferran Torres. Yamal then had a phenomenal turn before setting up Ansu Fati for the third goal before Abdessamad Ezzalzouli hit the final nail to seal a 4-2 victory.
Talking after the win, Barca manager Xavi spoke about enjoying playing at the new home stadium with the iconic Camp Nou being under renovation. The 2010 World Cup winner also thanked the fans for their support which helped them win multiple trophies last season.

Xavi said, "We feel good at the moment. We liked our new home and we have to encourage people to come and see us because we need that. Last season we won trophies thanks to the fans. It was a good game but we were not as good as in some games on the tour. We have played against a really good side, at a good pace and against a strong team. The changes in the second half worked."
