The Australian opening batsman David Warner before playing his farewell Test match at Sydney against Pakistan has announced his retirement from ODI format as well. Warner has been a legend in ODIs with the bat as an opener, hence in this article we will have a look at five unique records of Warner in ODIs.
1. Only batsman to have recorded three 150-plus scores in ODI World Cup history:
David Warner was part of three different ODI World Cup editions in 2015, 2019 and 2023 where he went on to smash at least one 150-plus score in each WC edition respectively. No other batsman apart from Warner has more than one 150-plus score in the World Cup history so far.
