India's flagbearer in pro-wrestling The Great Khali aka Dalip Rana has been hogging limelight for all the wrong reason. In one of the video going viral on social media, Khali can be seen engaging in a heated argument after being accused of slapping a worker at a toll plaza. As per the video, toll worker accused the former WWE wrestler of slapping him when he asked him to show the identity proof.

As per undated video which has gone viral now, The Great Khali has made allegations on toll worker for blackmailing him while the latter denied the claims and alleged that the wrestler unnecessarily slapped him when he requested Khali to show the Id proof.

Although police officer intervened in the matter to understand the situation, both the parties shared their own version of the incident. After repetitive queries from toll plaza worker regarding ID card, Khali confirmed that he is not carrying it and should be granted permission to move ahead. But toll plaza worker alleged that Khali slapped one of their colleagues and hence, he must apologies to the worker.

"How dare you to hit one of us. This gate (barricade) will not open. Why did you hit him? Call whoever you want, but we will not open this. Forget that you are wrestler. Take back the car, take it back now. Don't let them stand here. Don't make us hit you," one of toll plaza worker was heard telling Khali.

Khali became the first Indian to sign a contract with WWE in 2007, as he made his sensational debut on SmackDown in the same year. He won the WWE World Heavyweight Champion in July 2007, but his reign ended in just 61 days. He made his last appearance on WWE during the 2018 Royal Rumble PPV and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2021.
