New Character: Lila

Garena is introducing a new character named Lila in Free Fire. She’s a Gloo Wall artist who loves exploring. In battles, Lila uses rifles to slow down enemies and vehicles with her Gloo technology. When she knocks down enemies, she gets extra Gloo Walls and her special ability, Gloo Strike, activates.

Special Ability - Gloo Strike: Lila’s rifles reduce enemy movement speed by 10% or vehicle acceleration by 50% for 35 seconds. If an enemy is knocked down while slowed, they are frozen for up to 35 seconds, and Lila gets an extra Gloo Wall. This ability has a 10-second cooldown.

OB46 Update - Gloo Nova

The OB46 Update brings a new Gloo-covered map in Free Fire. Mr. Waggor’s Gloo experiment has transformed the Factory and other areas. Players can now use new Gloo Gadgets during matches, which are listed below:

  • Lavish Gadget: Grants random EP, in-match currency, or consumables when deploying a Gloo Wall. It may also provide powerful items. (Cooldown: 18s)
  • Wrecking Gadget: Deals extra damage to Gloo Walls and causes an explosion on destruction. (Cooldown: 285s)
  • Scanner Gadget: Scans for enemies within 35 meters for 6 seconds and marks them within 18 meters. (Cooldown: 25s)
  • Defender Gadget: Adds durability to Gloo Walls and automatically deploys a Gloo Wall if the player is knocked down. (Cooldown: 25s)
  • Gloo Arsenals and Airdrops: Arsenals and airdrops are covered in Gloo. Players must break the Gloo to access loot and can earn extra FF Coins from Gloo Airdrops.
  • Gloo Overload Event: Increases Gloo Wall carrying limit by 2 and boosts generation speed by 30%. Earn extra Gloo Maker EXP for traveling.

Gloo Nova in Clash Squad (CS)

The Gloo Nova event also affects Clash Squad mode. Customize Gloo Walls with Gloo Gadgets and use the Gloo-covered Factory and airdrops strategically. 

  • Gloo Gadgets in CS: Same as in Battle Royale.
  • Gloo Factory: Parts of the Factory are covered in Gloo. Use it in battles.
  • Gloo Airdrop: Smash the Gloo Airdrop to get loot. It replaces regular airdrops in rounds 1, 2, 6, and 7.
  • Gloo Surge Special Event: Players get an extra Gloo Wall at the start of each round (except the first), with the max limit increased by 1.
