India’s largest tournament Global e-cricket Premier League (GEPL) will be streamed on JioCinema and Sports18 Network. The tournament aims to bring together cricket fans as well as video game enthusiasts on one platform. The cricketing tournament comes with a prize pool of INR 2.51 Crore. It is touted to be the first Made in India esports league to level up Krafton Inc’s Backgrounds Mobile India (BGMI) series.

The e-cricketing tournament is being hosted by JetSynthesis and had its registrations open from June 28th to July 8th. The qualifiers of GEPL began on July 14th and concluded on August 10th, when participants engaged in single-elimination matches. The top 100 players qualified for the revered draft phase. The finale of the tournament will take place on December 8 at Pune’s Balewadi Stadium.
